I saw the need for students to work on this topic. I decided to make it fun and interactive. I made cards with numbers 1- 20& placed them in a bag. They get a number & place it in the whole area. Next, they get counters(only as many as the whole) they randomly throw them on the part/part area and start adding to make the whole. They keep the same number of counters to try to make the whole different ways.
