I saw this activity in Pinterest and thought it will be interesting to do this with my Pre-K class. This is my sample. I'll post their work later. I found the  eyeglasses and face template using Google. Below  my sample I added some of their finished product. My kids loved working on this activity.

Here are some of the activities we do for our letter of the week Students have  fun but also learn penmanship and sentence structure. Some of these activities are Pinterest inspired , I added other elements like writing and alliteration.

My dual language Pre-k students enjoy using high frequency words in Spanish to compose sentences.  So far they have learned how to complete sentence frames like
Yo voy________.
Yo soy_________
Yo veo_________
I use sentence strips, vocabulary cards and books we are reading to  help my students compose sentences and write them in their journal. Here are some examples:

It was fun  using ideas from Pinterest and making them my own. From painting to predicting the weather my students learned  and had fun. Here are some  samples.
