Ten Frame Fun-Painters Tape

On the floor,  I used painters tape to create 2 Ten Frames. Students in bilingual partners roll a die and using containers lid fill the spaces as they find the sum and difference(and learn fact Families) in an interactive and fun way.

I used an empty tissue box to save past units vocabulary words so my students can use them during morning journal time.   To make it look fab I  used zebra print locker tape I bought on sale to match my classroom.

Part, Part, Whole Using Painters Tape-Fun Learning

I saw the need for students to work on this topic.  I decided to make it fun and interactive.  I made cards with numbers 1- 20& placed them in a bag. They  get a number & place it in the whole area. Next, they get counters(only as many as the whole) they randomly throw them on the part/part area and start adding to make the whole.  They keep the same number of counters to try to make the whole different ways.
